"unable to make thumbnail (0)"???

after installing Gallery 1.4.3 in thought that it worked perfect.
If I log in and try to upload a picture i get an error;
"unable to make thumbnail (0)"

who can say what it is and how to solve this problem?

Give us your Gallery/webserver information to get a faster answer.
Get this information from the PHP diagnostic (in the configuration wizard).

Put your Gallery in debug mode, try an upload using the form, and give us the output.

What do you mean with "try an upload using the form"

Note: i'm a beginner

Don't use the applet, click the tab that says "Form"
