When I check NetPBM after I had installed the xoops gallery module v.1.3.3.3 I get the following errors:

The last message is pretty ovious but what's do I have to do that I don't get all the other errors? Does anybody have an idea?

rewarder, use the NetPBM binaries on our downloads page, those should work.

Ok, now i'm running into the next problem.
My webservers OS is freeBSD and when I donwload and afterwards upload the freeBSD binaries i'm going to get the error listed above.
Now I downloaded the binaries for linux-intel and I'm getting the following error:

Checking /home/ocaholic/public_html/netpbm/giftopnm
Error! (Expected status: 0, but actually received status: 134)

(CHMOD is set to 755)

You need the FreeBSD binaries, not the Linux ones. :)

Up to now I tried (chronologically listed) the freebsd 4.8 binaries, the linux binaries and last but not least the freebsd 4.5 bins.

When I upload the freebsd binaries - doesn't matter 4.5 or 4.8 - I'm going to get the error on top (CHMOD is set to 755).

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
