I know that Coppermine doesn't let anyone other than an admin create public albums. Does The Gallery let you do this?

All of the members of my site will be trusted enough to start a new album and upload to any album. That possible?

Thanks.

Short answer, yes.

You can set the permissions so that all users have permissions to upload pictures to all albums, just give the pseudo-user LOGGEDIN permissions to upload.

No, not automatically, you'll have to assign them that permission specifically.

Ok, as long as that can be assigned. Most gallery apps do not allow users other than the admin to create public albums at all...

How is this done?

I can't seem to get users to create albums, unless I create a top-level album and allow them sub-album access. But then they have permission to change eachothers albums. I have this installed on phpNuke as a module and the users have been ported over, etc.

There doesn't seem to be any useful documentation on how this system works from a user-side either.
