Did you try to upgrade the language packs as well?

No,.. there are only language-packs for 1.4.4-RC2, not 1.4.4... should I try these?

I can give you access to the gallery (web). Is this sufficient?
On this server I don't have access to the errror_log. The gallerys on my own server don't have click counters enabled.

1. If you're using the 1.4.3 langpacks, then yes, try those.
2. Not really.. we'd need to be able to upload test files to see if we could identify the problem.

1. Is the en_EN language delivered with the gallery? So I can simply switch to english.
2. For this, an user in the gallery should be sufficent, or not?!

1. Yes... English is the normal language.. You should be able to select it as long as you have enabled language switching in the config wizard.
2. No.. I'm not talking about sample images. I'm talking about script files.

Hi,
the language files in CVS HEAD branch (1.4.5-cvs) are older and bader then the files for 1.4.4.
Its an ungraceful task to keep the branches in sync when we are in RC phase.
So i decided to upgrade the HEAD files after the final langpacks for Release are shipped.
I will update them soon.
I also will make new langpacks for 1.4.4 final.
Just give me 1-2 days.

With the new german 1.4.4 language packs.. I don't test the hit counter yet, but the picture als album counter is still not working
It shows
" 1 Bild in diesem Album", but there is of course more then one picture. same on the top-level album.

now I moved the gallery into another directory on the server and downloaded the language-package new time... and now it works...
