I'm thinking you might not have PHP installed or you don't have your web server set up to parse php pages.

I also had a lot of problems getting the block to work in PHPNuke 6.0. I ended up reading threads here and threads in nukeforums and finally managed to get the block to display a photo. Great. Only problem is when I click on the photo then the block tries to display the Gallery inside the block. Not good.
In the end I hacked the code to disable the link so it's a static block. What I also need to do is find a way to fix the thumbnail length so I can better format text underneath it instead of seeing it disappear.
If you are interested in my hacked (and still very ugly) version of the block, let me know. There seems to be a very good working block for PostNuke but it doesn't seem to work for PHPNuke. Shame for us PHPNukers.
