good grief. i can't even figure out how to post a new topic - i need help to learn how to use the help tool. now i'm all pissed off.

anyway, i'm trying to figure out how to add links to my photo gallery pointing to a different website, without getting into the code. is that possible?

i know this is not the right category, but it's all i could figure out.

thanks everyone -

If I understand your question correctly, you would need to get into your source (X)HTML in order to edit links. However, linking into a Gallery webpage is no different than any other webpage.

For example, on my website, located here:

http://businesslearninginc.com/familyphotos/

Clicking on the Northwest Festivals will link to:

http://businesslearninginc.com/familyphotos/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=northwest_festivals

This link was generated from Gallery 1.4.2. I believe more recent releases of Gallery no longer require the browser to pass PHP parameters in the URL.

regards,

rich

schmolze, richbl,
I split these two posts from http://gallery.menalto.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=17627&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=

schmolze, there is a button on the top of the forum called "new topic".

If you want to add links to other parts of your site or other sites look at the stickies for adding navigation to your gallery. The best place to start is PixelPoets tutorial about the html_wrap pages.
