Hello,

When I updated from 1.4.3pl2 to 1.4.4, the gallery remote applets fail to load. If I go to admin options > add photos then a new window pops up but it remains blank!

The JavaScript console reports:

"Error: nw has no properties
view_album line 497"

Here's a linkto an album on my gallery where you can see this problem for your self.

Here's what I've tried (with no success) to fix the problem:

1) Updated phpBB from 2.0.8 to 2.0.10
2) Uninstalled and re-installed the most recent version of Java on my local PC.
3) Tried loading the webpage on a different computer.
4) Turned off my firewall
5) Installed the latest versions of the gallery remote applets from the nightly builds.

Here's the specs of my website:
Gallery 1.4.4 embedded in phpBB 2.0.10
Redhat Linux ES
PHP 4.3.2
MySQL 3.23.58

Here's specs of my local machine:
Browser: IE6 and FireFox 0.9.3
Java: 1.4.2.5

Please help!

Thanks,
Jack

dan_aka_jack, if "normal" form bases uploading works, post in the Gallery Remote forum.

No, the pop-up window is entirely blank. Not even the "normal" form loads. Try the link in my initial post to see for your self.

The JavaScript console gives a number of errors (but I don't know JavaScript so I don't really know what they mean).

I did post in the Gallery Remote forum but was advised that my problem is to do with Gallery, not Gallery Remote.

Hi dan_aka_jack,

did you also upgrade to the new modules.php ?

Is it possible, that you can give as test accounts with admin rights ?
One for phpBB2 and one for standalone gallery ?

Dear Jens,

Yes, I upgraded the modules.php too.

I'll message you with admin account names.

Hi,

It all works fine again now! Following Jens' suggestion I just re-uploaded the files and now it works.

Sorry for wasteing your time.

Thanks,
Jack
