GET LOCKED ERROR MESSAGE

Warning: fopen(/home/brettev/public_html/gallery/albums/gallery/block-random.dat.lock): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/brettev/public_html/gallery/platform/fs_unix.php on line 55
Error: Could not open lock file (/home/brettev/public_html/gallery/albums/gallery/block-random.dat.lock)!

is what im getting... it is showing the random block, but still get some lock file... I do see the block-random.php...

That means it's trying to update the cache, and can't.

Some of the files did not CHMOD to 777. i believe most of teh picture files... but i think the albums chMOD777 fine... i also siwtched the.user directory as CHMOD777 as well.

I'm still getting that lock display on there... I see the block-random.php.lock.dat or whatever.

Please some more help on the CHMOD instructions would be appreciated.

If not all of the files changed, then you may need to talk to your webhost. The only reason you'll see that error is if the server doesn't have permission to write to the file.

IT does seem that its not allowing me to change the permissions.

[L] PASV

so i would have to contact the webhost correct
