Echoing custom field "Field1"?

This should be straight forward but I can't get it to work.
I have an album and set a text string in the custom field "Field1". How do I go about echoing that on the page itself? I wanna use it as a kind of seconday description.
So what'd be the syntax for echoing it? Do I need to read/store any arrays?
