Are you changing it for a specific album or the layout-default?
I assume this is matrix layout.
url? PM me an account with site admin access and I can take a look. Haven't seen this before.

Hmm.. I changed the frame of your root album to branded wood and it worked fine. Perhaps your browser is caching the page with the old frame?

your change was saved. it is set to gold2.
I think this is just confusion on what "album frame" means.
It is the frame that will be shown for subalbum thumbnails IN the album. ie, now that you set gold2 for the avatars album it will use gold2 for any subalbum IN avatars. The avatars album itself when shown in its parent album (the root album in this case) it uses the "album frame" setting for that parent album, branded wood in this case.
so to answer your question.. yes, each album can use different frame settings; but no, you can't show a different frame for different subalbums displayed on the same page. all the albums you see in the root album will use the same frame.

that was hard to get my head around that, but yes i undestand what's going on now . thanks.
i guess it is confusing because there is nothing to tell you this when you "edit album". you just get the choices to make changes, so i was expecting a change to something that already exists rather than something that doesn't exist yet. ie: "sub ablbum".
i guess if that is made clearer for the final release will be good. as i would never have figured that out in a million years.
well i guess also then it's a good suggestion then? to be able to change an specific album frame on the front page? as that was the expected outcome i was looking for.
but prehaps that's what was going to happen when it hits beta?
