Replace Photo Option.

I want to replace a picture with a different size and quality but keep the info associated with it. I searched and found a few others looking for the same thing with no real solution.

I looked in this forum and didn't see it mentioned.

When in edit mode it would be nice to have the option to replace a photo that would update the size and thumbnail automatically but still keep the # of views and caption.

We'll definitely do that in G2. In G1, you can replace the image on the filesystem and then rotate it, and that should pick up the changes and fix the thumbnails/highlights.

Well... from my experience, the .htaccess prevents one from doing that. I havn't been able to upload a replacment file and keep the comments on a file yet.

I would like a mod or something that would do that.
