Hi there, I have installed this great packet and configured it a month ago, but I still got a troubleshoot that I can't seem to complete... I would like to add photos to an album (URL/upload/...) and display them with the original creation date/time. Gallery automatically takes the date/time when I upload the pictures... - Leave blank if no caption is specified. The last option takes the date of the upload ... Is it possible to create here a 4th option 'Set photo captions with file original creation date.' ? Perhaps there is a workaround available now ? I really like to know it then... I know that there is an option to set date/time individually for each photo, but when you got to thet for 500 photo's it will take to much time... Thanks in advance ! Kind regards, ;) |

Great idea! I just realized that the timestamp wasn't from the image itself this weekend [i had never used that feature before], and was surprised to see timestamps at night of images taken in the day time. I then realized it was the not when the file was put on someone's computer, nor when the image itself was created, but rather, the time the file was uploaded the a server running gallery.
I think it makes sense to have this option - esp. when there's a series of images, and having a date/time stamp makes even better sense.
