Love the new look G2. Installation was a breeze, thanks. However, I'm trying to use Gallery Remote (v.1.4.1) to upload some new pictures. I had used this with the Gallery V1+ with no problems, however, when I try to connect to my new G2, I get the following error message "Gallery Remote can find no protocol implementation at the URL http://www.thekidsarealright.remarked.net/main.php/. Check with a web browser that http://www.thekidsarealright.remarked.net/main.php/ is a valid Gallery URL" Now, please bare with me.. When setting up Gallery remote, I enter for the URL the following: http://www.thekidsarealright.remarked.net/main.php which if entered takes me to my G2 page, Gallery remote however appears to add a / to the end of the address making the log in URL as: http://www.thekidsarealright.remarked.net/main.php/ Which if entered takes you to an error page on my server. The only difference I can see is the added / I know as yet this is not supported, but any help would be appreciated. As always, massive thanks and keep up the amazing work. |

never tried GR with G2, but you should use the path:
http://www.thekidsarealright.remarked.net/
don't append main.php.

Hi out there
I have the same problem with the Gallery Remote Version 1.4.1
When i try to connect to the Server, i get the message:
"Error: unknown host:www.hbc-leimental.ch" and that one 2 times.
After that the following pop-Up apears:
""Gallery Remote can find no protocol implementation at the URL http://www.hbc-leimental.ch/apps/gallery2/. Check with a web browser that http://www.hbc-leimental.ch/apps/gallery2/ is a valid Gallery URL"
And it IS a valid URL .. !!!!

Try using http://www.hbc-leimental.ch/apps/gallery2/main.php
Does that work?

I think I had a similar problem with G2 and GR 1.4.1
I used a nightly build and it works fine now.

Thanks for the answer. Deinstall the GR, delete all files and install the latest GR version ..... and it works )
