dear friends ,
in previous versions of Gallery we can add our own fields to the database and add the data for these fields while adding a new picture , and search on these specific fields .
but In G2 , there is no such a thing .
please help me on adding my own fields to the database and add search ability to these fields .

There's a module called "Custom Fields"...

dear Mindless , thanx for your help ....
I was using version alpha-1 of G2 , now I get the version alpha-3 and I can solve most of my needs .
but another questuion about custom fields :
How can I place them in the advanced search checkbox items .... ?
for example I add some fields : quality , quantity , color , ...
and I want to able the users to search only on one field of the above fields ... how can I do that ?!

I think we'll get there eventually, but currently you can't search on a specific custom field. Please add a feature request on sourceforge for this.. thanks.
