Hallo, I am interested in following: I am having 1 installation of gallery (1.44) with huge albums database. I would need to install one more gallery and only read the albums from the mentioned gallery. Is that possible? would it be possible to enable commenting the huge database from the new installation? In the installation guide I am requested to set the albums path, I could set the existing but I am afraid it could be somehow damaged. Or is the solution the Mirroring function? I dont quite know how to use it. Hope i have chosen the right forum. Thank for any help! |

You should be okay with 2 /gallery/ dirs sharing one /albums/ dir. I would try to make one site be your exclusive upload site to avoid any weird file locking issues, but it should work okay.
