Anyone ever come across a mod to gallery to flag new albums since last visit? My family and friends find it difficult to know which albums have been added since they last visited the site. I'm thinking of setting a cookie with a date so gallery can then figure out when they were last at the site, I then modify the gallery code to highlight albums in another font/colour, whatever, to show which albums have been added. This way my users can go direct to the albums that have been added since last visit. I'm going to poke around with making a patch to provide this functionality however if someone has already done this it would save me a great deal of time. :smile: Cheers, Paul |

Okay, I've poked around in the source and it seems I will have to set a "last_visit" cookie in the session.php. Once there I need to modify some functions to use this "Last_visit" information to flag albums as "new since last visit." Once I figure this out I'll post a patch. If anyone thinks I'm barking up the wrong tree let me know.
