Howdy.

I run two large gallery sites (5,000 photos) and frequently need to admin the albums as users put stuff in the wrong albums.

I'd LOVE to see a better admin interface. Ideally I'd like the ability to "check" photos with an input check box and then select what I want to do.

For instance on a page of 20 photos I'd like to be able to check 10 of them and then choose delete, or move.

Deleting individual photos is so time consuming, and moving them can be if they are not contiguous in an album.

mbuna, basically what you want is a "shopping cart" system for mass editing. Thats not something that will make it into G1, afaik. G2 does have it "out of the box" though.

As long as it's on the list of enhancements I'm happy.

Today I get to download 2000 photos to my pc so I can resort them and delete duplicates.

Then I'll get to upload them all back into gallery. This will still be 5 times faster than trying to move/delete them through the admin interface in G1.
