Feature for G2?

Hi,

I am wondering if theres a way in 1.3.2, or if its planned in 2.x to have the ability to "cross-link" galleries, or their pictures. For example, I am about to add photos of a holiday of mine that traversed several countries.
a) I'd like people to be able to click on the holiday album and see all of the photos.
b) I'd like to be able to have an image with an image map so people can click on the different countries and see the sets of photos from the above holiday but seperated by country.

The "cross-linking" is my question, I have the imagemap linking to seperate galleries working just fine.

This is two separate feature requests, right?

If by "cross linking" you mean "I'd like to have one photo be visible in two albums" then yes this will be possible in G2 (search for "LinkItem" in this forum).

G2 may or may not support clickable image maps. I haven't really thought about that feature .. it may turn out to be a relatively easy thing to do. I'll have to give it some thought.

It was just one request.. that its possible to have one photo visible in two albums.. which I see you have covered with LinkItem.. which sounds great.

The imagemap was something I am just coding myself as output from photoshop or similar but maybe there is an application for it. Being able to jump around the album heirarchy with a picture has an attached imagemap might be a cool idea too.

Thanks for your great work.. I cant wait to get a look at the first release (alpha/beta or whatever it ends up being called)!
