Gallery Hit #1 on Google!

Well, folks, we've been watching it climb up for many months, and today, I noticed for the first time that Gallery was the #1 hit for the word "Gallery" on google.com.

We have been behind the National Gallery of Art for a long time, and sometime in the past couple of weeks we overtook them to be #1.

I think that being ranked #1 for a single keyword on a premiere search engine such as Google speaks for itself.

And on December 1, 2002 Gallery is still Number #1 on Google and in my mind also #1.

We outrank the National Gallery of Art for a bunch of countries, NASA's photo gallery, and Yahoo's photo gallery service! :smile:

well.. all you have to do is continue what youre doing.. keep posting those pictures..
dont mind optimizing for the internet.. because as it is.. the net is still going to find you..
because your site is useful.. beautiful.. and worthy.. kudos..

I was very impressed with Gallery when my friend told me just type "gallery" into Google and it will come up first...but I must say once I launched my website with it and 4 days later made it to the top of Google for my name I was a very happy lad. Kudos to all those coders and people who have along the way built this into an elegant and simple way to quickly change their web pages of photographs...

My donation is in the mail!!!
