Black Theme

Just a quick change to a Black Theme...

Anyway you can see a sample at my demo Gallery2 site:
http://bich.bounceme.net/gallery2/main.php/view/Theme/Black/?g2_navId=x62d2427

To install:

1. Extract Black to the themes folder at the root of your gallery installation.
2. In Site Admin , click Layouts and Themes under Display in the Admin Options menu on the left.
3. Choose Black from the Default theme list.

Now all gallery's will have this look....

Looks okay, but the various default images (Like the Gallery logo, the New icon, the icon of the login boxes...) of Gallery don't look very good on black, that could probably use some improvements.

Guess it will need another set of icons for dark backgrounds, is it done via changing the .tpl or...?

Also, I'm not sure if it's an IE thing, but there is a white border encircling the actual contents.

Ya... The funny thing is on Safari the icons in the login section never show anyway even on Matrix.. at least not on my machine.

The white boxes are semi intentional ;)-

I will probably redo some of the graphics so they look better, I think though its part of how the transparent images just end up doing the edeges...

What if i don´t want any gallery image header?

Using the latest version from CVS or B4 due out hopefully by Friday, you'd edit:
/galleryinstall/themes/matrix/templates/theme.tpl.

Be sure to create a local directory in /templates and copy theme.tpl to the /local directory, just as the instructions at the top of theme.tpl state. This way your changes are not overwritten on an upgrade.
