Hi,
wie binde ich die Gallery am besten in meine Homepage ein?
Layout soll angepasst werden, und die Gallery soll im selber Fenster erscheinen und nich in einem neuem geoeffnet werden.

Wie mach ich dies??

Danke,
Jost

Hi G2People,

Jost would like to know whats the best way to integrate G2 into his homepage.
He would like to adjust the layout and the links should not open in new windows.

Sir_Joe, what you want is possible, but how to accomplish it strongly depends on your case.
You would like to visually embed G2 in your homepage. Is the site where G2 is embedded in static or dynamic (i.e. is there a dynamic menu, or a line "hello user xy")?
If the site is static, you should think about creating custom templates and a layout/theme, all in G2.
If the site is dynamic, you'll have to create a php file, i.e. index.php, put there your dynamic menu etc. and call GalleryEmbed::init(), GalleryEmbed::handleRequest(), ... from this file. See docs/EMBEDDING (in your G2 download) for this task.

I'm Swiss, so let me know if you need German support.

the comment about links opening in new windows makes me wonder if this is a G1 question.. G2 doesn't open things in new windows.

anyway, see templates/global.tpl for instructions on how to add a basic header/sidebar/footer around G2.
