Can not Intsall into mambo! Cant find file....

Ok, well i have installed the gallery (gathering it is latest, as i just downloaded it a night or too ago) and using mambo, latest stable release.. If need numbers and version i can find for you.... but anyway To install into mambo, you need to specify the the component path to install from or something... gallery/contrib/mambo (and all that stuff before) Now i am sure, i have done this...... i have put in the exact path, abosulute path... but it still says the file does not exsist! mambo = my/main So having gallery not inside the mambo folder.. is that a problem ? Anyway, help would be appreciated... e-mail @ or add me to msn @ Im sure it is something simple im doing wrong... |

Gallery 1.4.4 does not support Mambo 4.5.1 - there are instructions in the forums which can assist you in getting it running, unofficially.

after searching for ages, there is a forum post....
it says to use a different gallery.xml file ..
so thats it..... cant find topic to link other ppl with..
but just thought i would kinda of answer my own question in case anyone else had the same trouble - close topic?
