Has anyone heard of someone who has made some custom themes and image frames for G2? There were some made for G1, but have been unable to get them working with G2 (havn't really tried yet, but...). Also, is there a way in G2 that you can remove some of the info from your album thumbs page? For example, looking at the thumbs page in an album you see the filename, date, views, etc. Can you remove it so there is only the thumb pic, and then you click on the image to get to the full image and that data? |

G2 introduces a new concept called a "layout". In a nutshell, it's a set of XHTML that is used to render an album and the images inside the album. You can activate different layouts in the Site Admin and then pick which layout you want to use for each album.
When you understand how layouts work, you can start the process of creating your own layout. I just told somebody how to do this today in the IRC channel and hopefully I'll get him to post a how-to here so that people can get started creating their own layouts...
