I recently logged in to my Gallery and this message was waiting for me:

Quote:
Attention Gallery Administrator!
Gallery has detected the following 1 invalid album(s) in your albums directory
(/home/dejahth/public_html/gallery/albums):

Summerslam-2004
Please move it/them out of the albums directory.

The images are all in that directory, and so seem to be the dat files - only for some reason Gallery doesn't recognise it and doesn't show it anymore.

Corrupted file maybe? How did it happen, can I fix it and how can I prevent it from happening again? This is fairly big album and has lot of captions so I'd like to be able to save it if possible and not recreate it from scrach.

Here's my system information:

----
Gallery URL: http://gallery.dejahthoris.net/
Gallery version: v1.4.4-pl4
Apache version: 1.3.33
PHP version: 4.3.10
Graphics Toolkit: ImageMagick
Operating system: Linux
----

If anyone could help me that would be greatly appreciated.

As no-one seems to know how to fix it, I've decided to upload the photos again :(

Just hoping it won't happen again...

I got exactly the same problem when creating a new album in a fresh install.

Unfortunalty the admins refuse to swich off the safe_mode and albums are created (alway as album01) . Is it the cause ?

is there any workaround ?

thanks, I am stuck. :(
