Hi, I'm kinda new so I make this quick :)
I'm having problems with the alpha 4 release. This is something completely new for me, so I would appreciate some easy instructions if you've got the answer.
I've used Apache for a while so for gallery I just had to install mysql, php and phpmyadmin. So i configured mysql and php, created a database named gallery, went thru the installation process for gallery ( http://slaskbevaring.com/installer.JPG ) (no problems there) and activated most of the scripts at page 8 and started the service.
This is what I see: http://slaskbevaring.com/screendump.JPG
I've got no login bars, neither can i create new accounts. I have to log in via the advanced search, from there I may log in and edit my profile and some site settings as the administrator.
I don't know if it's just me but it bugs alot, it's very common that code is written in the bottom and at the top of the gallery.
So, I don't know what to do. I've tried reinstalling it multiple times (also tried v1.x but I didn't like it), no change.
The gallery I found that made me install it was: http://wingdings.mine.nu/gallery/ , that's how I want it to look like ;)

Hope you've got enough info to solve this problem.
Best regards.

First things first, check out the sticky FAQ and get a nightly build of G2 or get it from CVS.

I agree .. if you can reproduce this with a recent nightly then we should investigate further.
