A major hack I've made to many of the admin pages is to make the admin links standard rather than use popup_link as that will give my user a more consistent experience. (plus Firefox didn't like the popups) It seems to me that by doing so I've created a stack of work should I ever decide to upgrade and wouldn't it be nice if there was a config setting for popup or same window. Then the code could look to see how a link should be written and if the dismiss buttons are needed or the menu should be shown. Just a thought. Maybe G2 has it. Haven't looked at that, committed to G1 for this project. thanks Sarah |

G2 doesn't use popups, but G1 is incredibly unlikely to change at this point. We test the popups in all common browsers, and they work great. (I use Firefox, personally.)
