OK, I'm new to Gallery, so please bear with me here. I like the "Print this photo on Shutterfly" feature, but I'd like to know how it works? I can see that it adds the picture to my Shutterfly shopping cart, but how does the image data actually get to Shutterfly? Does Shutterfly grab it from a URL? Or does my computer grab the full-size image and then send it to Shutterfly? Thanks. |

Clicking the [print this photo on Shutterfly] link submits a form which includes the URL to the original, unresized photo, regardless of whether you're viewing the smaller or full-sized image. (The thumbnail URL is also sent). Shutterfly then follows the URL and downloads the photo itself (so Gallery doesn't actively push the photo to Shutterfly, if that's what you're asking). :smile:
