Slideshow in Popup- Mambo

Hi-
I have gallery 1.4.4 installed w/in mambo & all is fine. I also installed chet's hack files (thank you!) and they're working fine outside mambo popping up the largest, full size image. I'm having 2 problems though:

1) Within mambo - instead of popping up an image, a new mambo window appears. Anyone dealt with this?

2) is it possible to have the slideshow appear in a popup? A slideshow of the intermediate sized images? I have a personal preference to have the intermediate size image popup in a new window so you don't need to scroll down each time to view a full image in a slideshow.

If i could just get this slideshow going in a popup w/in mambo i'd be so excited... in the meantime i'm using zoom which just doesn't feel as robust as gallery...
