errors installing g2

I just installed G2 on a Linux server, and all the files were found, everything looked fine. I'm getting this when I go to open the gallery, though:

Warning: requireonce(/home/frolick/public_html/gallery/modules/core/classes/../../../themes/matrix/theme.inc): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/frolick/public_html/gallery/modules/core/classes/GalleryCoreApi.class on line 2237

Fatal error: requireonce(): Failed opening required '/home/frolick/public_html/gallery/modules/core/classes/../../../themes/matrix/theme.inc' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/frolick/public_html/gallery/modules/core/classes/GalleryCoreApi.class on line 2237

did you check if there is a file at
/home/frolick/public_html/gallery/themes/matrix/theme.inc
?
if not, i'd try reinstalling G2 (unarchive the tar.gz again). else, maybe there's something wrong with your webserver setup.
