Installation was good but: Error (ERROR_BAD_PARAMETER)

I installed everything and it went absolutely smoothly. It told me I was finished installing and that I could now view my photo gallery, but it keeps giving me this error:

Any help is greatly appreciated. I hope I included enough information, I'm not sure on a couple of things but everything is up to date and we are able to run scripts off of the server. Thanks again.

Gallery URL (optional but very useful): http://www.dustyray.com/photos/
Gallery version: Gallery 2.0-alpha-4
Apache version: not sure on this one
PHP version (don't just say PHP 4, please): up to date version, not sure exactly, sorry!
Graphics Toolkit: image magick (i believe)
Operating system: linux
Web browser/version (if applicable): internet explorer

please try a clean install with a recent nightly snapshot and let us know if it still doesn't work.
