Hidden images cause View Comments error

One of our artists uploaded an image then hid it, and his View Comments suddenly gave an error:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for isitemowner() in

followed by some other error stuff.

When he unhid them, the error went away. Are you aware of a problem hiding images?

Not aware of anything, however the "in" portion is extremely helpful in tracking this down... what did the error occur "in"?

this is the error.

Missing argument 2 for isitemowner() in /2/gallery/classes/Album.php on line 1589
Error: Requested index [0] out of bounds [5]
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /2/gallery/classes/Album.php on line 1432

indeed when you unhide the photo(s) the error dissapear.
A temp workaround is to set the hidden photos inside a hidden album. It is starnge behaviour but it works for me.

gallery vesrion 1.4.4 pl4
It seems like a bug. A google search reveals 100's of that errors. view_ comments.php is involved.
