How to show resised image?

How do I make Gallery2 show resised images like this?
I have some very large pics but it shows "Full size: Photo". I use the GD module, and I've set Target Size to 640x480.

In the album that contains the images that don't have resizes, try checking the "recreate resizes" checkbox in your album settings and then clicking save. Does that fix it?

what do you see in edit photo / photo tab for resizes for the photo you want to resize?
what do you see in edit album / album tab for resizes for the album containing that photo?

Hm it seems it works when I add new photo's/
I installed the GD plugin after I added the first few pics. perhaps thats the problem. Is this a bug or a feature?

well, as bharat suggested when you check "recreate resizes" and click save it should create them... you might try adding the resizes directly on the photos that are missing them and see if that works.

yeah adding them directly on photos solves the problem. but shouldnt this be fixed or so?
