allowed memory size exhausted !

Hi all .
I have a problem with G2 alpha3 !
when I'm trying to add alot of description to a picture I get this error :

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in ..../ GalleryUtilities.class

what should I do now ?!
How can I increase the memory limit for one domain ?!
how can I decrease the memory usage of G2 ?!

any ideas woul be pleased

First, you may want to upgrade to more recent version (alot has happened since alpha 3; even alpha 4 is hopelessly old)

Second, the problem is exactly what it says... 8MB is way too small! you need to give (or ask your hosting provider to give) PHP much more than that.

There were several discussions in this forum on what to do in such circumstances. Search for 'exhausted'. A lot depends on your OS and Web server specifics.
