Gallery version: 2
Webserver (with version): Apache
Datatabase (with version): mySQL
PHP version (eg 4.2.1): 4
Graphics Toolkit(s): All

Hey,
first WOW on v2. It's soooo much better than v1 it's amazing.
The GUI overhaul is just amazing. I loved the power of v1 but the GUI was just strongly lacking, just tested and installed v2 and you've fixed everything I didn't like about v1. 2's just sooo clean and clear.

But yeah, here's my issue.
I want to integrate the photo gallery with a 'community' type website I'm making where users register on the site itself. When they register I want them to be automatically signed up for gallery.

First question is, is it possible to automate the sign up process so i can just do it myself without the user having to fill in the form so that when they sign up for my site they are automatically registered for gallery as well.

Secondly, I want to fill in a list of possible values for custom fields like "countries", "people", etc. from information from the general site - is it possible to do this? And if so, how do I add and change the values that are possible per field?
Also, I want to automate and tweak the process of adding values for custom fields (I want to set it so that if users are logged in, if they click a single button, it will add their name as a value for the 'people' field, obviously though I want to be able to enter multiple values for the 'people' field.

All help, tips, suggestions, etc. are welcomed and gladly appreciated.

have you taken a look at embed.php in the g2 root directory?

also look through the forums for integration/embed documents and instructions.

with this you can begin to embed your g2 within most systems. if you are using nuke or xaraya, there is also some people working on integrations for those, that information is also here on the forums.

if you have more specific questions, you are welcome to post here, and other with more information on the subject can help you.
