gallery addon log in question

Hi all, ive searched high and low, but cant find this...

i have installed gallery as a mambo componant and can login as admin through mambo but i want to be able to see a login option for gallery on the gallery page in mambo so that users can login there as we dont have user accounts on mambo....i hope you understand what i mean!

mambo 4.5.1 gallery latest build....its all works fine...

Hello,

imho this is not possible with G1.
Because when Gallery runs embedded, then it uses the users from the environment.
So even when you would enable the login, it would not work.

So you need some Code changes.

btw: i dont understand why you dont want to make mambo users ?

The site we are making is a photography site, so we want users to have a gallery, i had installed gallery on mambo for my own gallery work and was impressed so it was a natural choice to have it again, but as mambo is being used as a CMS and not a login site we havent any mambo users apart from admin team. phpBB is our user area but we were unsure of gallery/phpbb integration so went with mambo...phew, that make sense???
