First off, let me say I am very impressed with gallery 2. It is quite the step up from the origional, which is also very impressive. With gallery 2, I have a couple of questions:

1. Is it possible to watermark a complete album as it was in Gallery 1? Currently I have only found ways to watermark individual images.

2. Can you dissallow people from viewing the origional sized image and only allow viewing of the resized image?

Thank you ahead of time.

1) in G2 you pick the watermark at the time you upload the photos.. the watermark you pick will be applied to all the photos you upload together. if you'd like an album-level setting (so you can do "reapply watermarks" similar to how you can now do "rebuild thumbnails") then please file a feature request on sourceforge.

2) yes.. try "edit permissions" and you'll find separate permissions for viewing resizes or original image.

1) true ... but not when you use remote or applet...

could it be implemented?

Sure could be. We just need a volunteer to work on it.
