Hi all, I'm a newbie & have no idea where to post this question! I have been able to add images and custom fields to a gallery. Here's the questions: 1. Can options/choices for completing the fields be selected by drop-down boxes? to help in ensuring better quality data (with images)? (Are all fields text fields? Can you have an automatically generated unqiue identifier assigned to each image uploaded?) 2. How do you add the search capacity? Are all cusotm fields searched? Or only keywords? Where can I find the answers to these questions in your online user documentation? BTW, if this Forum uses PHPbb - can a spell checker be added into the Preview function? Many thanks, |

#1 is a good feature suggestion. Would you please file it on http://sf.net/projects/gallery as an RFE (Request for Feature Enhancement).
#2 is on our list of things to implement
We don't have online user documentation for G2 yet, sorry.
We're probably going to switch forum systems before too long so I'm not going to invest the time into adding a spell checker into this one, but I'll work on it in the next system. Good idea!

if you've created any custom fields you were on the screen where you can define a picklist for those custom fields.. it's at the bottom.
yes, all custom fields are searched.
