Hi, I posted a problem earlier on in this thread. So, I've reinstalled everything and this time around, there were no error messages. Started up G2 without a hitch, and then I changed some parameters like panorama size to 900px and order of image displays to creation date and things like that. Then, I uploaded some of the Sirius theme files without overwriting anything. Tried to load up G2 on my site and now I get this. Error (ERROR_MISSING_OBJECT) : Please go to my site to see what I mean. What's wrong now???? I'm close to throwing the in the towel and reverting to Coppermine, even though I REALLY like how G2 looks, and REALLY dislike Coppermine's skins. Please, please do suggest something that wouldn't require me to re-install everything . . . I've checked with Doteasy support and they say I can't unarchive a rar/tar.gz file as its a shared server - whatever that means. Anyways, it takes me more than 6 hours just to upload everything (I timed it), so I really don't want to do it again . . . Please help. Thanks. |

Ok.
I deleted the databases in mySQL, deleted the config, main, index files and managed to 'reinstall' G2. 10mins in, and it works ok.

there was a bug in saving the sort order in site admin / layouts.. that caused the error above. the bug has been fixed, so make sure you're using a current cvs or snapshot before you save a sort order again.
