Hi. I'm a little confused. I'm trying to use the Tile layout with the Matrix theme, and I'm having a some problems trying to understand the album structure of 'Tile'. What I'd like to do is to have each individual thumbnail on the first page act as a link to an album, rather than an image, like it is right now. I have a sub-album, but it isn't displayed on the front page. And, I'd also like to have each image displayed differently. Right now, it just overlaps on whatever is beneath, and at different sizes. Is there also any way of getting the Description/Summary of the image display itself when you click it? Please do go to my site at http://luqmanlee.com/photofolio to see what I mean. I've got it to look this way after messing around with it for hours . . . not very productive. Thanks. |

Oh, I've also been trying to get the BOLD typeface on the sidebar to look like the one in the Gallery Title, but can't figure out why they're different even though my entry is the same . . .
AND I can't seem to get the 'Polaroid' frames to show up at all. Any ideas?

Another curious thing I've noticed is that it clips the sidebar on the left if you move the cursor onto the Gallery banner at the bottom of the thumbnails. Any idea why, and how do I correct this?
Thanks!

Tile layout is more of a demonstration of the power of G2 layouts (how you can display albums in very different ways) than it is a fully functional layout.
1) It only shows images, not subalbums (this is noted in the layout description where you activated it)
2) It does not support imageframes.. you'll notice no option for this in the Layout tab
3) It only shows fullsize images, not resizes, overlapping the album page as you noticed
4) in osx firefox 1.0 I see bold text in the sidebar and I don't see any clipping effect
If you want to do some further development on this layout to make it more usable that would be great..

Thanks, mindless.
I guess unless I can develop the layout, I'll have to settle for another.
I would love to develop the layout, but unfortunately my programming knowledge is limited to only basic html, and whatever code that I find in free-code websites . . . hence the really noob questions . . .
Thanks again.
