View posts since last visit is not working.

Recenty the "View posts since last visit" link has not been returning any messages. My first thought is that this is cookie related so I cleared my browser cache, deleted all cookies, closed the browser, then I logged back in but the problem remained. I have tried to get this to work using both Firefox and Internet Explorer and neither of them work. Is anyone else having this problem or are there any tips to get this to work again? I use this feature on many phpBB boards and they all still work except here. I find this link to be the easiest way for me to keep up with the posts. Thank You. |

Gallery is running heavily modified versions of Postnuke and PNphpBB, so things here don't necessarily work the same way as other sites. In particular, most of the search functionality has been modified to use a separate database to relieve performance problems that it was causing.
The issue you're seeing is probably directly related to the search functionality, since that's how it runs.
The Gallery site will be moving to a different CMS at some point in the not-too-distant future, so this should hopefully all be a moot point at that time.
