[SOLVED] Trouble with templates/local/global.tpl

I followed the instructions about enclosing the gallery content in global.tpl in order to customize the look. I did, but nothing's changing. I dropped my new file into the gallery2/templates/local/ directory, but nothing's changed. Please help.
