Error after successful installation (Security Violation)

Hi y'all,

After a successful (refreshing and reassuring) installation of Gallery (based on last night's build), I get this error when I get redirected to the gallery homepage (main.php):

Security Violation

The action you attempted is not permitted.

Error (ERROR_BAD_PARAMETER):

It's not a permission problem on g2data, because it's chmoded to 777 now. I've seen similar postings, but no solution provided, even when marked 'solved'. Would love some detail on the solution is poss...
