One feature I really miss from G1 is the ability to click on a photo while viewing the "resized" version in order to get to the "full-size" version. The list of sizes above the photo seems kinda easy to miss, and clicking on a photo to make it bigger seems to be a rather intuitive action for many users.

Is it planned to re-add this functionality?

No way, no new ideas will be considered!

Of course, that was sarcasm. Sounds like a reasonable idea, maybe an RFE would help keep the devs from forgetting about it :)

Thanks, I'll do this. What is the patch submission policy for this project? If I hack on this myself, should I submit it to the dev list?

You can post the hack as a zip/tar.gz archive here in the forums...
And if the G2 framework looks too complicated, file a RFE on sf.net. :)
