Gallery2 Random Block - Xaraya Integration

I know this is on the edge of G2 Support, since it actually has to do with integration. But here goes.

The random image block in the gallery2 integration does not seem to work with short urls.

It appears just fine on the main page, but then if you use a module with short urls it appears to look for the image using the base as the short url starting place. Let me give you an example.

On the frontpage the image in the random block is located at:

http://mysite.com/index.php/gallery2/album/picture.jpg

However on the articles page it shows up as:

http://mysite.com/index.php/articles/index.php/gallery2/album/picture.jpg which it obviously can't find.

Any ideas on how to fix this - other then disable shorturls, which is the current solution.

i thought it was working on my install, maybe not.

short url support in G2 will change in the coming week(s), I'll work on this bug probably not before this change was made.
