Hi,
I managed to get jhead installed...I think.
Where is it supposed to appear in the gallery?
If it doesn't do I need to go back to my config?
How do I do that now? I can't seem to open config.php.
I could realy use some help....
I downloaded it and the config wizard says it sees jhead, but nothing seems to have changed. How do I access the information? The only "properties" I can find is the browser right click that tells me the size of the thumbnail. I particularly want the date the picture was taken rather than the upload date to appear as "capture" date.
Thanks,
Frank Richards

I figured it out......
It says [photo properties] in the upper right hand corner. You click on it and all your camera settings are there.
To turn it on go under Properties and turn on "Display EXIF data?"
I take it you figured out how to rerun config.
For anyone who hasn't....you have to change your CHMODs back in FTP and make your changes.

Or you can just update the exif parameter in config.php without
going through the entire config procedure.
If you cannot get jhead working at all, figure out where you installed it
and make sure Gallery can find it there. Generally, you will want
to place the executable in /usr/local/bin/ if you're running *nix.
