Can anyone suggest how to turn joerg's random-block on/off with the postnuke permissions system?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure, but maybe you can model it after the permissions you should see for the administration module. Though that is for the admin "module" and not the block itself -- seeing that the admin module resides within the Main Menu block and that the random photo is it's own block, I'm not sure if it would work.

Well, the issue is that most of the blocks have a unique identifier that the permissions module and Postnuke understands. For example, the Main Menu block is identified as component "Menublock".

I am wondering what the corresponding component name is for the Random Picture Block.

You know, you're right. I took a look and I didn't see within Permissions any corresponding block for Random Block. I clicked on Component, and I didn't see Random on the list. Not sure, but I think most postnuke modules has a way of registering itself within the permissions -- Random seems to be embedded within gallery itself.

I gave it a try anyways:

Unregistered gallery:: gallery_random None

But that didn't have any effect.
