Moving multiple images at the same time????

I wasn't sure where to post this.... so please excuse.

I've been searching for this tool forever (or one like it anyway). I love it.

BUT, of course, there is always a "but". I was wondering if there was a way to move multiple pictures from one albums to another at the same time?

Maybe I can explain my problem, and there is already a different solution than the one I'm looking for.

I have about 5000 digital camera photos that I have been simply storing, but not presenting because I did not have the tools. Until now.
I'd like to load ALL 5000 into Gallery so that I can SEE them in order to sort them.

My thought process is
-Load all images into 1 album (I realize this will take days to process :smile: )
-Sort them from there by creating new albums as I need them.
-That's it!!!

Basically, the function that is missing (or I can't find) is selecting many images at the same time for a batch move to a new (or existing) album.
