Hope this is the right place to post, didn't know if it was best here or in the gallery remote part of the forum.

I'm trying to use gallery remote to upload images to my g2 gallery. All other methods have so far worked fine. However when I try to use remote to upload it tells me that the gallery is 'read only' and I therefore can't add anything. I thought it might be something to do with permissions but I can't see anything to change, nor am I really sure what I'd specifically have to change. Remote works fine and dandy when connecting to my g1 galleries.

Using GR version 1.4.1

Any ideas?

This is a good place to post :-)

This is a bug with urls that have ~ in them. I think this is fixed in the latest snapshots of GR, so if you try 1.4.2-b12 it should be fixed. If you don't want to upgrade, try editing the url in GR to use %7E instead of the ~ and that should fix it.

Basically what's happening here is that GR is messing up the cookie path that it sends to G2 so G2 doesn't get the cookie, which makes it think that you're not logged in, so you have no write permission anywhere.
