Layout question-siriux

I have been using the latest g2 and wanted to try the siriux (9.1)temp. However I am getting the following error on the site admin page:
siriux.net Gallery layout
Incompatible layout!
Core API Required: 4.0 (available: 5.0)
Is this due to recent changes in the g2 coding? Sorry, I am a newbie to gallery and php but I can make my way through it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I guess I should try and look around first before I post. I compared the layout.ini file to that of matrix and found the core api setting at 4 instead of 5.

i've started updating this layout for addition into CVS.. siriux.net uses a fair amount of wordpress css and its own global.tpl, so the initial cut into G2 cvs won't look quite as good, but it'll be a start.

Are the layouts and themes set for a while. I know that the CSS was completely redone but are there more drastic changes coming. I have a couple ideas for layouts and themes but I don't want to have to recreate them a bunch of times since I currently don't plan on using them on my site.

Siriux now in cvs! Maybe nicokaiser will help to clean it up :-)
lvthunder, there's still some talk about more UI changes but i've done my bit.. i don't know what else may happen or when.
