I've set up a gallery and I really like your software. However, my gallery is for protected materials and I don't want anyone without access to be able to get to any of it. I like the ability to require people to have an account to be able to view any of it, but the problem is if people still have any of the url's for the images that have been uploaded to the albums directory they can enter them in manually and get to them. Is there a way through either .htaccess editing or some other way for these pictures to only be viewable through the gallery? Thanks for your time, I've done some research and so far come up with nothing. |

Don't put you g2data directory under your docroot, as suggested by the installer. If you're using G1 then you're out of luck, and you posted in the wrong forum. G2 will not allow direct url access to the images.
